Our ALJ Guides

Global Guide Community

Agile Leadership Journey hosts a community of globally respected leaders, educators, trainers, and coaches who we refer to as Guides. Our collective goal is to develop awareness and capability as leaders and organizations to improve business outcomes in highly complex, uncertain, and rapidly changing environments. We are experienced, passionate, pragmatic, and articulate professionals who collaborate and co-create in the ongoing design, delivery, and growth of the cooperative itself, the programs offered, and leaders in the community.

Our ALJ Guides are:

  • Independent leadership trainers who teach our curriculum in public and private workshops
  • Professional leadership coaches who bring the Agile Leadership Journey™ to executive leaders, mid-level managers, leadership teams, and organizations
  • Leadership coaches and trainers looking to expand their service offerings to their clients.
  • Employees of companies who serve as internal leadership trainers and coaches certified in facilitating the Agile Leadership Journey™ curriculum for in-house training and development of company leaders
  • Leaders in both for-profit corporations and nonprofit organizations who leverage the Agile Leadership Journey™ tools and techniques and their membership in this collaborative learning community in their daily work

Guide Philosophy

A group of leaders, standing and sitting in a circle. All are looking toward the woman on the left who is speaking. A post-it whiteboard is in the background.

Agility education and coaching is necessary but not sufficient to enable sustained organizational impact. As organizations mirror their leadership, organizational agility depends upon leadership agility. Therefore, through our Guides and our curriculum, we educate, inspire, and develop leaders to improve themselves and their organizations through more agile ways of working.

Unlike agile consultancies, we do not prescribe solutions. Rather, we equip leaders with tools to shape their thinking, behavior, and focus to enable leadership and organizational agility in delivering on business goals.

Unlike agile frameworks and scaling frameworks, we do not prescribe a particular way to “do” agile. Our approach in developing leaders enables any agile framework or scaling framework to be more effective through leadership engagement and ownership.
