Agile Leaders must then understand where to go on their journey
Once leaders understand the landscape of Agile Leadership, it helps to know where to go and how to get there. It is one thing to know where north is, an effective agile leader must orient their position relative to their current state and their own leadership objectives and those of the organization.
The Agile Leadership Compass Orientations provide navigational guidance to leaders to help develop their own thinking and behaviors as well as the guidance required in leading organizational agility.
The top two orientations focus on how the leader thinks and acts. The lower two orientations focus on what the organization values and how it performs. Again, most leaders primarily focus toward the Southwest (Value Delivery) - however, it is the other three orientations that enable it to sustain and grow.
