Applied Learning is active listening, talking, doing and leading
Learning does not happen watching slides flash by on the screen. Learning happens when participants engage deeply in the content and context of the learning. Participants of this workshop are provided multiple learning modes to deeply engage with the content, including instructor led, participant led, shared discussions and self-reflective activities.
Pete Behrens is a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) and Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) from the Scrum Alliance, and a Certified Leadership Agility 360 Coach through the Changewise Leadership Agility Program. Pete's 25 years of experience in product and organizational development will provide a framework for your experience.
Participants share responsibility in teaching the learning objectives based on their experience and expertise. In both small discussion and whole-class facilitation, these shared training opportunities enable more experienced leaders and coaches to further grow their communication and facilitation skills.
Most learning happens in small shared group discussions where participants have an opportunity to work closely with their peers to understand and apply the learning topics deeply across each of their contexts. This opportunity enables participants to dive more deeply into topics and share in the exploration of them.
Applying learning to your own organizations and your own challenges allows for personal application of the studied topics. Throughout the workshop participants are provided opportunities to reflect upon, strategize, and apply the learning to their personal and organizational context.
